Neither. Tape Music Suite indexes the files you already keep on a computer or NAS. Nothing is uploaded into a hosted catalog we own.
Will it reorganize my folders?+
No. Point the hub at the archive you already maintain. Listening and pairing sit on top of those folders; they stay the source of truth.
Can I listen on my phone without copying the library?+
Yes. Pair the companion app on the same Wi-Fi first. Remote listening is the licensed layer when you are away from home and the hub is on.
Does it replace iTunes, Plex, or Apple Music?+
No. It is a local-first hub for owned files: browse, playlists, tags, and a phone companion. Streaming catalogs are out of scope.
Can I try it before buying?+
Yes. Download the desktop hub, add your folders, pair the phone, and test the local flow before choosing a V1 or Lifetime license.
