Tape Music Hub
Your desktop music library,on your phone.
Turn your computer into a personal music server and stream your local library directly through the Tape Music app.

Ready when you are
Setup your desktop, pair your app, and play your music, everywhere.
Tape Music Hub is a phone companion for the local library you already maintain. Your desktop stays as the hub; your phone gets the same folders, playlists, and tracks.
Your archive, in motion
Files stay where you already keep them. Music Hub makes that archive usable from your phone without uploading it or rebuilding it in another service.
Drag out, hand off
When a playlist is ready, hand it back to the software you use to play. Drag it out, drop it in, and keep the same archive as your working source.
Playlists that follow you
The playlists and folders you already use show on your phone. Listen, review, and prepare without destroying the folder system you already care about.
Import your music from
Pull in playlists and crates from the tools you already use, matched to the files on your desktop.
- Apple Music / iTunes
- Rekordbox
- Traktor
- Serato
- M3U / XSPF
Your desktop stays as the hub.
No new catalog to rebuild. Install the app, keep your computer on, and start from the library, folders, and playlists you already maintain.
- Step 1
Install the desktop hub
Music Hub runs from the computer where your real library already lives.
- Step 2
Add folders and playlists
Start with one folder, playlist export, crate, or the music you are currently working through.
- Step 3
Pair the phone app
Scan the QR and the phone companion connects to the same archive.
- Step 4
Keep the computer on
Your desktop keeps serving the library, and the phone app becomes the way you listen and work through it.
New music starts messy. Your archive does not have to.
Ideas come from Bandcamp, SoundCloud, YouTube, Shazam, friends, physical finds, sets, conversations, and unfinished downloads. For DJs and collectors, the work is not only listening before a gig. It is the long process of hearing, sorting, preparing, and deciding where new music belongs.
Music Hub is built around that reality: keep the folder system you care about, bring in the playlists and crates you already use, and make the same archive usable from your phone while you work through it.
When a playlist is ready for a set, getting it back into your DJ software should stay simple too: drag the playlist into the program you use to play, then keep preparing from the same archive.

Before you install it.
Music Hub is a phone companion for the local library you already maintain. These are the practical questions that come up before installing the desktop hub and pairing the app.
Why not just sync files to my phone?+
Manual sync works until the library changes. Music Hub keeps your phone connected to the folders, playlists, and tracks you keep working on, without exporting a separate copy every time.
Does it work with messy folders and DJ metadata?+
Yes. Music Hub starts from the archive you already maintain: folders, playlist exports, crates, covers, and metadata. The point is to use your existing library instead of rebuilding a clean catalog somewhere else.
Will it change or break my music library?+
The listening and pairing flow is designed around your existing files staying where they are. Music Hub sits on top of that archive so your desktop library can remain the source of truth.
Can I try the phone flow before paying?+
Yes. Install the desktop hub, add your folders, pair the phone app, and test the basic flow on the same Wi-Fi before paying for access away from home.
What happens if my computer is asleep?+
Your computer is the hub, so it needs to be on and reachable while you listen. If it sleeps or loses network access, the phone cannot stream from it until it is available again.
Is this for DJs, collectors, or technical users?+
The launch focus is DJs and collectors with serious local libraries. You do not need to know server software: set up the desktop app, keep the computer on, pair the phone, and use your archive.
What am I paying for?+
Local use stays free. Paid plans unlock listening away from home: monthly while the plan is active, or lifetime early bird if you want to own remote access for your main hub.
Music Hub is personal software: a desktop-first phone companion for people who collect music seriously, prepare sets, and care about the archive they have built over years.
