Music Hub 0.2.1
Full notes for the desktop updater. This is the same release content used by the in-app What's New screen after an update.
Music Hub 0.2.1
What's new
- Faster library browsing — Albums, artists, labels, saved music, recent additions, and play history now load in smaller steps and keep their place when you switch views.
- Easier discovery in big libraries — Keep scrolling to load more, or use the A–Z shortcuts to jump straight to the music you want.
- Keep your hub available in the background — choose in Settings whether closing the window leaves Music Hub running in the tray, so your phone and Remote routes stay available until you explicitly quit.
- Remote listening gets priority — while your phone is playing, Music Hub automatically pauses library scanning and background file reading, then continues when streaming stops.
- Smoother Remote playback — Music Hub now prepares only the audio quality your connection needs instead of doing unnecessary work in the background.
Upgrade notes
- If you use Remote, open Settings → Remote after updating to check that Keep this hub active is on. A closed laptop lid, logout, or system power setting can still make the hub unavailable.
